November Snapshot
My apologies! I am 2 weeks late on an update - ugh! Things have been busy!!!
We closed out November by selling the 1998 Jaguar that was donated to us - what a sweet ride! The car went to a great young man up in Clarksville who has plans on restoring it with his dad and brother. This car will continue the live and drive - love it!
The goal for car sales like these is to take older (“vintage”) cars that are donated, get them up to an acceptable level of driveability, and sell them at a great price so they can continue life “as is” or as a restoration beyond what we can do given our time and resources.
Funds from these sales go into our “general fund” to provide refurbishment for “program vehicles” - like the ‘08 Altima we just delivered to Nashville Amputee Blade Runners, or the ‘06 Ford Explorer we delivered to Healing Housing!
Like I said, it’s been a busy month and we’re excited to close out the end of the year strong.
Next up, a ‘99 Toyota 4Runner we will fix up and sell, an ‘06 Jeep Liberty we are doing a “Refreshtoration” on for Nashville Amputee Blade Runners, and a great ‘02 Acura MDX we will get ready if we can help our donor get a duplicate title!
Let’s keep the Momentum rolling! Thank you for your support!
- Todd
We had about $1,000 into the Jag and we sold it for $2,000 (just below KBB). Failing paint kept the value down, but we’re excited to see this car live on!
‘08 Altima delivered to Nashville Amputee Bladerunners!
‘06 Ford Explorer delivered to Healing Housing!
Brennan & Billy donating a ‘99 4Runner - refresh and sale coming soon!
A great ‘02 Acura MDX. We’ll have to help our donor through the "duplicate title” process before we can get going on this one…
Working on an ‘06 Jeep Liberty for Nashville Amputee Bladerunners that needs a little love!
