August snapshot
Whew… a hot, hot August has ended, and some cooler temps are now tempting us. Let’s keep it rolling through Fall!
Here we will take a look at August, in keeping with a commitment of financial transparency and accountability…
First off, we began the month with our first car donation!!! - a 2005 Honda Odyssey that is now all dressed up and ready to go. Thank you to Dave & Amy Dillbeck for getting us started on the car front. A minivan??? WOW! This will be an immense blessing to a local family in need.
We’re ending August with a monetary donation total year to date of $3,807.41 (after processing fees), and a bank balance of $1,368.99.
Total expenses in August were $2,348.42. In detail, they were:
$1,500 for our awesome logo By Josh McKenna. This included not just the logo, but setups for business cards, a 4x6 “info card”, stickers, and merchandise you can find here! This is a great deal, and Josh has been fantastic to work with!
$843.85 for auto parts and shop supplies. I will break down the cost of the refresh on our donated Honda Odyssey below, but we’re coming in at $764.18 on the car, with the remaining $79.67 in supplies we can use for other projects.
$80.00 went to Tech Soup for a non-profit discount on QuickBooks Online, an obvious bookkeeping necessity.
$14.57 went to the Williamson County Clerk to title our donated Honda Odyssey.
Now…
Stay tuned for news on our fall fundraiser - it is going to be epic, and it will (hopefully) carry us over our $10,000 goal for the year! This will leave us well-funded to continue servicing cars and getting them back on the roads in our community.
Attention… we need some donated cars! So spread the word on what we have going here, and let’s keep this Momentum rolling!
Thank you all!!!
